Malcove Collection Videos PDF Print E-mail

Former UTAC Director, Niamh O'Laoghaire tours the Malcove Collection highlighting three reliefs from the collection.

Lillian Malcove purchased the architectural relief fragment of an angel holding a wreath  (M82.312) from  Parke-Bernet in 1962, and the Coptic relief sculpture (M82.320) and  the architectural fragment of a winged lion (M82.318) from André Emmerich Gallery, New York in September 1963 and 1965. These works are part of the Malcove Collection, a permanent collection donated to the University of Toronto in 1982 and now one of the University of Toronto Art Centre's three permanent collections. The Malcove Collection Video project is supported by Janet Dewan and Barbara Tangney in memory of Marian F.K. Ade.
