Places in The University College Collection: Great Art for a Great University
University College, designed by Frederick Cumberland and William G. Storm, has inspired artists, amateur and professional since its inception. Director Niamh O'Laoghaire presents a tour of theses images dating from when the building was still in a rural setting by the banks of Taddle Creek, through to the 1980s. The College is shown in at least three of the four seasons and the mood varies from the celebratory to mysterious, to the dramatic and suspenseful. Some concentrate on the College as a whole, others focus on details. Together the images constitute a history of the building and its surroundings.

People in The University College Collection: Great Art for a Great University
Director, Niamh O'Laoghaire discuses portraits in the University College Collection, including those of important office-holders of the University of Toronto and University College. These works are contrasted with portraits of UC members offering a foil to the rather staid official portraits. O'Laoghaire also highlights the work of a handful of professors in University College, who apart from their academic pursuits were noted artists, including Sir Daniel Wilson, Barker Fairley and Robert Finch.
