Through the Body will be the largest exhibition of lens-based work by contemporary Chinese women artists to be mounted outside of China. Focusing on photography and video, the exhibition is structured by the Chinese concept Ti Shi, which can be defined as the act of learning through bodily experience.

Archiving Public Sex highlights materials from the Sexual Representation Collection of the Marc S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies. Photography, video, event posters, press releases, pulp novels and more provide the opportunity to consider when, why, and how sex has become public, and under what terms. The exhibition features documentation of many economic, artistic, and activist interventions.
